About the event
Alice has spent more than 20 years living and working in the region known as the Middle East. This summer, supported by the generosity of the Abraham Path Initiative, she revisited the area with the aim of producing poetry that challenges the often-negative stereotypes associated with the region. Along with Derby Poetry Festival, and fitting with this year’s National Poetry Day theme of ‘Refuge’, Alice invites you to join her on a journey to re-write the Middle East. The workshop is free to attend, but booking is essential.
